Playing in front of their own public, Borneo FC display a high fighting spirit since the early minutes of the match. In the first minutes, Lerby Eliandry had conducted a shot attempt that lead to the goal.
Even in the first 15 minutes, at least we got three chances. Each through Terens Puhiri, Patrich Wanggai and Lerby. Unfortunately, those chances were not converted into goals. The first half of the match ended without goal.
After the break, Borneo FC coach, Ricky Nelson tried to change the strategy by substituted in some players. Including Sultan Samma who played on the 69th minute to substitute in Jefri Kurniawan. Two minutes after he was started to played, Sultan Samma influenced the match a lot. He got a golden chance but his header balls still hit Lerby's feet.
In the second half, Borneo put more pressures to the visitor team. They kept giving PS TNI defense an extra work. Finally, nearly in the end of this match Sultan Samma's header ball conceded to PS TNI's goal. And made Borneo FC win the match 1-0 over PS TNI.
With this result, Borneo FC is now on the eighth position on the table of Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 competition. Meanwhile, PS TNI is on the fourteenth position of the table and has been collected 25 points from their nineteen matches. (I/JP/KOK)
