Two Borneo FC's players, Lerby Eliandri and Abdul Rachman finally called to join Indonesia National Team. These two players' name are on the line up of the match between Indonesia against Fiji at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi on Saturday (9/2).

Coach Luis Milla puts Abdul Rachman who will compete with Arema FC's player, Ahmad Alfarizi. Meanwhile, for the forward position, Lerby is chosen along with Persipura's captain Boaz Solossa and Bali United's striker, Irfan Bachdim.

This match will be the third international match for Indonesia in 2017. Previously, Indonesia lost to Myanmar and held to a draw by Puerto Rico. The calling of Lerby and Rachman to National Team get good response from Borneo FC's management.

Borneo FC's team secretary, Ridhotya Warman revealed that the team is ready to let their two players to join the National Team. According to Ridho, the joining of Lerby and Rachman to National Team will not disturb Borneo FC's preparation in Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1, although in the reality Borneo FC has a tight schedule.

Pesut Etam also scheduled to have away match against Semen Padan on Thursday (8/31) and head to Gresik on Monday (9/4). "After the match against Semen Padang, Lerby and Rachman will join the National Team. And then in September 3rd, they will join Borneo FC again." he said on Monday (8/28).

He also said that the coach will check the fitness of Lerby and Rachman after the match with Indonesia National Team. "It depends on the coach whether they are ready to be played on the match against Persegres or not. But it won't be a problem although the schedule is tight." he said. (DMZ/KOK)
