Borneo FC Samarinda succeeded to pick one point in their away match to Semen Padang on Thursday afternoon (8/31). The match in the week 22 of 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 competition was very fun for Sultan Samma.

The player who has squad number 22 was extreemely happy because his goal became the differentiator in the match. Because of his equalizer goal, Borneo FC could hold Semen Padang to a 1-1 draw and succesfully picked one point in their away to Padang this time.

Even, after a while Sultan Samma was substitute in, Semen Padang's coach, Nil Maizar showed a different gesture that he paid a special attention to this player. He instructed his team to be wary of Sultan Samma's movement.

The fear was reasonable for Sultan Samma managed to take advantage of set piece assist from Abdul Rachman and then did a bicylcle kick in front of Jandia Eka Putra's goal. This goal was Sultan Samma's second goal in 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 competition after his first goal in the beginning of the second round, his goal determined Borneo FC's victory upon PS TNI at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda.

After the match, Sultan Samma seemed to be very grateful for the result. He said that before the match he got a feeling that he will score in that match.He even told Lerby Eliandri about that. "Yes, I just convinced myself that I can score a goal, then it is proven that I can score a goal. Of course, I am very happy and grateful for that. Alhamdulillah we got positive result on today's match." said Sultan Samma.

Sultan Samma himself has collected 589 minutes play from the total of 16 match where he started his 13 matches on the bench. Although, he is rarely to be enlist on the starting eleven, so far Sultan Samma are able to score two goals for Borneo FC. He also often be the key for his team to get positive results when he was given the trust to substitute in other players.
