Borneo FC Samarinda's striker, Lerby Eliandri determined to increase his goals in the continuation of the 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 on Monday (9/11) against Bali United at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda.

Bali United was the former team of Lerby Eliandri before joining Borneo FC Samarinda. Lerby Eliandri turned into new idol when he played in Bali United.

Along with Sultan Samma, Lerby was succeed to win the heart of Bali United's fans. Lerby also admits that he often got mixed feelings when he has to fight against his ex-team.

However, Lerby decides to act as a professional player by promises to give his best to win the match, although it means to make his ex-team to suffer the defeat. "Fight against the team who has raised ones name is one of a difficult thing for every footballer," said Lerby.

"But playing for the hometown football club is the thing that make me proud the most. I certainly will do my best to my hometown team, may Jesus Christ bless us," said Lerby who was born in Samarinda, on November 21st, twenty five years ago.

Until the week 22 of the 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1, Lerby has collected 10 goals. This record completes his goals record in the previous season which is 7 goals. The fact makes Lerby to temporarily leading the top scorer record in Borneo FC Samarinda with 17 goals. (AHS/KOK/*)
