The big match of 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1 on the week 23 between Borneo FC Samarinda against Persib Bandung on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda will be postponed.

The match will be postponed due to the PSSI Disciplinary Committee's letter to Borneo FC Samarinda which said that they give sanction to the organising committee of Borneo FC Samarinda to not hold the match in their home base and they may hold the match outside Samarinda with the minimum distance of 100 km radius. This sanction comes into force since the match against Persib Bandung (9/16), Persiba Balikpapan (9/25), PSM Makassar(10/8), and Persela Lamongan (10/19).

This sanction is given because the organizing committee of Borneo FC considered negligent to run the match regulation about the safety of the match officials.

The unilateral and hasty decision makes the preparation that has been done by Borneo FC Samarinda becomes useless. The local organising committee of Borneo FC has prepared the transportation to pick up their visitor team, Persib Bandung at Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport, Balikpapan on September 14th, 2017.

On the other hand, the notification letter about the sanction from the Disciplinary Committee was received by Borneo FC on Thursday morning, September 14th, 2017 at 00.37 a.m central Indonesia Time. Besides, the match's ticket has been distributed and was sold, including to accomodate the visitor's supporters who will attend the match. (**)
