Borneo FC's foreign striker from New Zealand, Shane Smeltz spoked related to the postpone of the match between Borneo FC against Persib Bandung. Both teams supposed to meet in the match at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda on Saturday afternoon (9/16).

According to him, it is strange to happened in this professional football league. He thinks that this incident broke the sportivity in football.

"I have an opinion. This is not a good situation for the league and everyone. You cannot change the schedule only two days before the match. I don't know why they have such decision. It hurts the league and also the club," he said.

Shane Smeltz admits that this is the first time for him to have match postponed only two days before kick off. He said that something like this has never happened in another league.

"This is my first time to see such decision. I have played in another league but I have never seen a decision like this before," said the top scorer of New Zealand National Team.

Meanwhile, Shane Smeltz also thinks that the sanction of the four home match suspension which has to be accepted by Borneo FC was a disadvantageous decision to his team. It is because his team is ready to host Persib Bandung at their home base, but the team have to change the training agenda and preparation.

"Once again I think I don't know who has made this decision. I don't know how this could happened, we have 6 home matches and 5 away matches. We have to win in our every home match. But in reality, we only have two home matches. So it is not good to the team and also to the fans," said the player with squad number 10. (DMZ/KOK)
