Failed to pick point in their last match against Bhayangkara FC, Borneo FC Samarinda choose to focus on their next match against Persiba Balikpapan (9/25). Choosing Mulawarman Stadium in Bontang as the venue for the match, the match is the prestigious match titled Derby of East Kalimantan, and also as the first outbreak match for Borneo FC Samarinda.

Playing in Bontang is a big loss for Borneo FC Samarinda. The coach of Borneo FC, Iwan Setiawan is a bit sad to see the match that will be held without spectators.

"Playing without supporters must be hard for us. We play as the home team, but that does not mean anything because we will not play in Segiri Stadium in front of our supporters," said Iwan.

Although suspended to have match played in Segiri Stadium, Iwan confirmed that his team swear to not giving any point to their opponent. The historical value of Mulawarman Stadium is hoped to give advantages to Pesut Etam squad.

"Borneo FC is ready to play anywhere. We are not whining with the recent condition. It's like the Army Special Force Command, we are always ready to fight," joked Iwan.

A match against Persiba is like a revenge match. Where in the first round of 2017 Go-Jek Traveloka Liga 1, Borneo FC was defeated 2-3 from Persiba Balikpapan. Three points are crucial for Pesut Etam who will come back to the middle of the standings.

The tight schedule of the matches is mentioned to not reducing the team's power, said Iwan. He still have time to maximize the preparation at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda starting from this afternoon (9/22).

"Against Bhayangkara FC, the boys had already played well. Now we only have to keep their stamina in order to stay fit in the match against Persiba," explained Iwan.

Regardless of the suspension, Iwan only hopes that the referee of that match is honest in making his decisions. His simple desire is simply only for the development of Indonesian football.

The former coach of Persebaya Surabaya also added that, the quality of the match can be broken by the bad refereeing. It was proven two days ago when Borneo FC was harmed by the bad qualities of the referees.

"I will not ask much. We are ready to play anywhere as long as the referee is fair. That is enough," ended Iwan. (ABI/KP/KOK)
