Today Borneo FC is scheduled to depart to Serui, a long trip to the Marora Stadium forces Pesut Etam to bring a minimalist squad. Borneo FC is required to transit in Makassar and Biak before finally arriving in Serui on Thursday afternoon.

Farid confirmed the reason his team to bring the minimalist squad to Serui because to get around the tight schedule of the competition. Because 4 days after the game against Perseru, Borneo FC will have a match against Persib Bandung in Bontang.

"It's about the schedule, we have proposed a change of the match against Persib but we can not do it. We come back from Serui on November 5th and we will arrived in Samarinda on November 6th while the match against Persib will be held on November 8th. Our players must be very tired" he said.

Meanwhile, other players are not taken to Serui precisely prepared for the game against Persib. The players include Flavio Beck Junior, Lerby Eliandri, Sultan Samma, Kunihiro Yamashita, Terens Puhiri, and Muhammad Ridho.

The list of Borneo FC's players who are brought to Serui including Nadeo Argawinata, David Ariyanto, Leonard Tupamahu, Arthur Irawan, Firdaus Ramadhan, Riswan Yusman, Jefri Kurniawan, Rizky Yusuf Nasution, Wahyudi Hamisi, Abdul Aziz, Dinan Javier, Febri Setiadi Hamzah and Muhammad Sihran. The last name is known as the Borneo FC U-19 players who also registered in the senior team.

Although not carrying the complete squad, Farid revealed that they keep on targetting to pick points in Serui. This is shown by the division of two teams and separate training to keep the focus. "With the team that goes to Serui, our target steal points there. We also target victory against Persib with a team prepared in Samarinda," he said. (AHS/KOK)
