After the match in Perseru Serui yesterday, Borneo FC Samarinda squad directly head back to Samarinda today (11/5). Pesut Etam rushed to Samarinda in order to prepare for their next match against Persib Bandung (11/8) in Bontang.


Borneo FC Samarinda's assistant coach, Ahmad Amiruddin said that his squad did not have much time to relax. Faced with a super solid schedule, the risk of fatigue should be accepted. The journey from Serui to Samarinda is not short, takes up to 20 hours.


"From the beginning, we see the schedule is quite detrimental.In a week to play three times.To solve this problem with the rotation," said Amir.


Massive rotation was finally done. The team coach decided to play Borneo FC Samarinda's back up players on yesterday match. Even they only brought two substitution players with them. "Otherwise, it's hard for us to maximize the next game because we have to get the victory," said this AFC C licensed coach.


Having two games left, against Persib (11/8) and Arema FC (11/11), Borneo FC Samarinda target to get six points. Although not going to have a big impact on the table standings, but the victory is a must because both are the home matches for Borneo FC. "The management wants the team to get the best results. And we from the coach team trying to make it happen," he added.


Separately, Borneo FC Samarinda's midfielder, Wahyudi Hamisi was grateful that he got through s pass a fierce duel against Perseru. He also ask his team mates to refocus to the next game.
